Here is perhaps the final update on the Toyota Innova facelift, as the car has just been launched. Toyota was caught updating its website today with information and images of the new Innova and here's the lowdown.
In the lead up to the launch, every piece of vital information on this refresh including spyshots, dealer confirmations and the prices leaked onto the internet.
The Innova facelift gets a large chrome grille (that Toyota calls 'stunning chrome grille') with three horizontal slabs, a new front bumper with a differently designed air dam, chrome-lined foglamps, body graphics on the doors, a new roof spoiler, chrome embellishments on the rear door (that Toyota describes as the 'chrome rear door'), chrome-finished muffler and a new top-end Z model.
To its interior, the car receives a wood and silver finished dashboard panel, dual tone seats with leather covers, wood finished gear knob and a wood finished armrest panel. The touchscreen infotainment system released for the Indonesian market is not offered in India. The variants of the facelift get the exact same equipment as before.
Technical specifications stay the same with a 2.5-liter diesel engine producing 102PS and 204NM driving the car through a five-speed manual transmission.
The model's variant lines are divided into GX, VX and ZX, apart from the base E model. These are sub-divided into seven and eight seaters. The brochure attached below the gallery provides a further look into the variants and features.
The Innova range starts with the base E model which lacks air-conditioning and is priced at INR 9.77 lakhs, and extends all the way to the top-end Z model priced at INR 15.06 lakhs (ex-Showroom, New Delhi).
