The city car was launched in J, E and G trim levels and to appreciate the good customer support, Toyota Astra Motor have introduced the Valco in a JX variant positioned between the J and E variants.
President Director of PT Toyota Astra Motor, Johnny Darmawan –
The city car segment has unique characteristics with diverse needs. The launch of the new variant is as an effort to meet the needs of Toyota’s diverse market. The Valco JX Etios is expected to be an option for people who are in profile between type J and E.
The primary values that customers of the JX variant look for are cabin space, high ground clearance, good features and an extensive dealer network that matches the global standards.
The features available on the JX variant include dual front airbags, Electronic Power Steering (EPS), Auto-Down Power Windows, Power Door Lock, Tiltable Steering Column, Tachometer, Indicator, and two-speakers with pre-wiring.
Toyota has altered the final gear ratio for additional torque at lower rpm as users of the Valco, as per the studies, are shifting to the higher gears even in city limits. Other technical specifications remain unchanged with the 1.2L petrol engine producing 80 PS and 106 Nm of torque.
