Here are two other motorcycles which received their media premieres at the Hero Gurgaon press conference - the New Hero Passion Pro and the New Hero Xtreme.
New Hero Passion Pro
The New Hero Passion Pro gets a side-stand indicator (alert), service reminder and all-black saree guard. The dial design is revised and the bike would launch with new body colors and graphics. The Passion Pro's technical specifications are retained with the 97.2cc 4-stroke engine producing 7.8 PS @ 7,500 RPM and 8.04 Nm @ 4,500 RPM.
The front suspension is a telescopic shock absorber while the rear suspension duties are tasked to a swing arm with an adjustable shock absorber. The bike also gets disc brakes at the front.
New Hero Xtreme
The New Hero Xtreme refresh gets an electronic immobilizer. Without its assigned key, the immobilizer would not allow the engine to fire. A Side Stand switch is also introduced that cuts off ignition if the stand is not folded, as well as a mobile phone charging socket. Cosmetic updates include a new speedometer, headlamp with new eyebrow lights and LED taillight with light guides.
There are no mechanical differences in this update with the same 149.2cc four-stroke engine retained, developing power and torque outputs of 14.4 PS @ 8,500 RPM and 12.8 Nm @ 6,500 RPM respectively. Another feature highlight here is the front disc brake.
