The 2013 Suzuki Swift facelift was launched in the Russian market recently. The facelifted Swift was leaked in June this year, following which Suzuki Europe made the official announcement a month later.
The refreshed Swift now gets a set of LED daytime running lights in its foglight enclosure. You will then need to carry your magnifying lens to spot the silver detailing on the lower part of the front bumper. Apart from these exterior changes, a new color dubbed 'Boost Blue' has also been included, while the non-alloy wheel variants get a new design for their wheel caps.
Inside, the Swift gets new fabrics, power folding wing mirrors, an auto-up function for the drivers side power window and automatic headlights.
For the Russian market, Suzuki has launched five variants of the Swift - one 3-door model and the rest are five-door models. All variants are powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine producing 94 hp and come mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic unit.
The top-end model will be available only with an AWD (All Wheel Drive) system and gets matched to the manual transmission. Apart from the AWD system, it also gets a slightly increased ground clearance and silver-colored front and rear skid guards.
The refreshed Swift has been priced from 615,000 Rubles (INR 11.68 lakhs) and extends up to 785,000 Rubles (INR 14.91 lakhs) for the AWD model.
Meanwhile in India, we have just started seeing spyshots of an updated Swift being tested and the market launch should take place by next year.
