The Toyota Etios XCLUSIVE limited edition model was launched recently. The Xclusive edition is available on both, the Etios sedan and the Etios Liva hatchback. From what we understand, the Xclusive edition celebrates the second anniversary of Etios in India.
The limited edition model is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. However, Toyota says that only 1,000 units of these limited edition models would be made (still unclear whether they mean 1,000 of each variant of each body style which would bring the total tally to 4,000). Further, we were told by a dealership that 1,000 units is being allocated for every state. So there is some confusion with regards to the exclusivity of this variant.
Deliveries have not commenced yet, though dealers are accepting bookings. The Xclusive editions are based on the G/GD variants of the Liva and the Etios sedan. They will be sold only in three exterior color shades - White, Symphony Silver and Classic Grey.
The following are the feature additions on the Xclusive variants:
- 2-tone beige interiors from the higher variants
- New 'premium' seat fabrics
- Audio system with Bluetooth and remote
- Gearlever with a chrome accent
- Rear parking sensors
- Xclusive badge on the bootlid
Prices for the Etios Xclusive edition, ex-Showroom, Mumbai, are as follows:
- Etios Liva Xclusive Petrol - INR 487,564
- Etios Liva Xclusive Diesel - INR 604,135
- Etios Sedan Xclusive Petrol - INR 603,884
- Etios Sedan Xclusive Diesel - INR 703,710
While the Etios Liva Xclusive costs INR 5,500 more than the G/GD variant, the Etios Sedan Xclusive is INR 6,000 more expensive than the G/GD variant. It does seem to be pretty good value for money given that the features mentioned above would cost much more when installed aftermarket.
