Ahead of its public unveil at the Geneva Motor Show next month, Audi has released the official images of the Audi RS Q3.
The RS Q3 was previewed as a concept at the Beijing Motor Show last year and the production version of the performance SUV stays true to the concept. Well, almost. The carbon fiber trimming has been replaced by cheaper aluminium accents, both inside and outside. The aluminium background in the instrument cluster is replaced by a conventional black theme.
The Audi RS Q3 looks sharper and aggressive than regular Q3 variants, thanks to the bigger alloy wheels, sporty front bumper and a silver finished rear diffuser.
While there is no mention about the powertrain and its specifications, we expect that the same motor from the concept to sit under the hood. The 2.5 litre turbocharged petrol motor that is borrowed from the Audi TT RS is likely to have a power rating of 355 bhp.
The speculated 0-100 kph acceleration time is 5.2 seconds and the top speed is pegged at 265 kph. The RS Q3 is expected to be the cheapest of the RS Audis.
The Audi RS Q3 would be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show on March 5th.
