2013 Tata Indigo eCS emax
The Indigo eCS will feature a 60-liter CNG tank. Tata claims an efficiency of about 24km/kg of CNG. A theoretical combined range of 850km is being estimated.
You can run the eCS (and the eV2) on petrol and CNG. There is a switch that lets you toggle between petrol or CNG, even whilst the car is in motion.
Tata has also included a switch that prevents you from cranking the engine while filling up CNG. The entire CNG line is made of stainless steel.
Otherwise, the eCS and the eV2 are identical to their respective petrol/diesel siblings. It's only by taking a look at the badge (located at the bootlid) does one come to know about the CNG.
