The Toyota Land Cruiser V8 has been voted number one for the second year running in the large 4x4 category at the British Insurance Vehicle Security Awards.

Toyota’s Land Cruiser has an upper hand in the SUV segment worldwide. It is one of the best cars for school runs in western countries because of the sheer volume of the safety features it offers.

It has got every safety and security features under the sun with 10 airbags, 4-wheel ABS, vehicle stability control, brake assist and the list goes on and on.

The Vehicle Anti-Theft System on the mighty Land Cruiser is a thing of technical brilliance.

It is not just all words, Land Cruiser has proved worthy of itself as it has been voted two years in a row as the winner in the large 4x4 category at the British Insurance Vehicle Security Awards.

This award ceremony which took place at the Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre in Thatcham, Berkshire was intended to bring about public awareness on vehicle security.

The “New Vehicle Security Rating” Scheme or NVSR as the locals call it, judges vehicles based on two criteria “how hard is it to steal the vehicle” and “how hard is it to steal from the vehicle “, the more harder it is , more points the vehicle gets.

Toyota’s Land cruiser has fared well in both the categories and was crowned the most secure SUV.

We say - If you park your Land Cruiser on the road, the next day morning you can expect to find it at the same place.
