Based on the top-end VX variant of the Toyota Etios sedan.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor today launched the Toyota Etios ‘Xclusive'. This edition is based on the top-end VX variant of the sedan and prices start at INR 7.82 lakh for the petrol and INR 8.92 lakh for the diesel version (ex-showroom, Delhi).
This special edition comes with exterior and interior changes to differentiate it from the standard model, such as the introduction of an all-new Blue Metallic paint with Symphony Silver and Pearl White. The electric side mirrors now get chrome inserts, doors get visors and the fenders get an ‘Xclusive’ badge.
On the inside, seats are covered in dual-tone fabric upholstery while the armrests and instrument panel have been decorated with a wood grain finish. A smart link touch screen infotainment system comes with navigation, Bluetooth and voice functionality apart from having support for hand gestures. Other features that come with the car are dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors, multi-function steering wheel and six speakers.
This is purely a cosmetic upgrade with no mechanical changes. The engine will be the same 1.5-liter petrol engine giving 16.78 km/l and the tried-and-tested 1.4-liter D-4D diesel unit that gives 23.59 km/l (mileage figures ARAI-certified).

This launch comes as the festive season approaches, and most automakers introduce facelifts and special editions during these months to boost sales.
