Will feature a thoroughly revised front fascia.
Toyota is working on mid-cycle refresh for the Etios, which will launch in India during the festive season. Pre-production examples have been spied testing recently, revealing some of the changes in store.
The front fascia of the facelifted Etios will be thoroughly redesigned, featuring changes identical to the ones seen in the just-launched Toyota Etios Platinum from Brazil. It gets a new V-shaped grille with black inserts and chrome accents, sporty bumper with a larger intake and round foglamps, redesigned chrome bar running across the boot and an updated rear bumper.
Spyshots of the interior have revealed a dual tone black and beige dashboard with beige fabric seats, black leather-wrapped steering wheel with buttons, and chrome inserts for the HVAC vents.
The engine lineup is likely to be identical to the current Etios, which includes a 1.5L petrol engine and 1.4L diesel engine. The former produces 90 PS/132 Nm of torque, while the latter outputs 68 PS/170 Nm. The only transmission option is a 5-speed manual gearbox.
