Tata Motors is offering a sunroof as an accessory for the Nexon. Buyers can spec their Tata Nexon with one using the configurator on the official website. The sunroof can be added to any grade of the Nexon.
The addition of a sunroof will cost INR 16,053. From the looks of it, the sunroof appears to the pop-up kind that does not require any electrical connections, which also helps simplify the installation process. Aside from a sunroof, the configurator also lists multiple personalization accessories including styling kits.
In the compact SUV market, the only vehicle available with a factory fitted sunroof is the Honda WR-V, but only on the top-end VX grade. Hence the feature adds novelty to the vehicle.
Tata offers the Nexon with a 1.2 L petrol and 1.5 L diesel engine. Prices of the Nexon petrol and Diesel range start at INR 6.16 lakhs and INR 7.19 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively. Tata has launched AMT variants of the Nexon that are available only in the top-spec XZA+ grades priced at INR 9.41 lakhs (petrol) and 10.3 lakhs (diesel) ex-showroom Delhi.

The compact SUV has helped Tata post a strong growth in the UV segment. The Nexon accounts of roughly 53% of Tata's total UV sales and in March, helped the company post a YoY growth of 223%.
