Will get 6-speed AT and MT gearboxes.
These pictures of the production Tata Hexa were snapped at a recent event in Jaipur, wherein participants of another event, titled CEO Cricket Challenge, were given a chance to drive the Hexa and explore its off-road capabilities. As mentioned earlier, the media drive event of the Hexa is scheduled for later this month, and a launch is just around the corner.
An image of the spec sheet confirms what we already know about the Tata Hexa. To recap, it will be powered by the 2.2-liter four-cylinder VariCOR 400 diesel engine capable of 156 PS at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm of torque between 1,700-2,700 rpm. 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions will be offered on the Hexa, which succeeds the Aria in the market.
The Tata Hexa measures 4,788 mm in length, 1,903 mm in width, 1,791 mm in height and 2,850 mm in wheelbase. It features a ground clearance of 200 mm, a fuel tank capacity of 60 liters, and rides on 19-inch 235/55 tyres with diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The Hexa will be available in 4x2 and 4x4 variants, with the latter getting a Land Rover inspired Terrain Response System with switchable modes. A touchscreen entertainment system with parking camera, navigation, Bluetooth, JBL surround speakers, leather seats, projector headlights and multifunction steering wheel are among other features observed.
