At yesterday's Tata Ace 1 million sales milestone celebration, the 'Tata Ace Refresh' was showcased and used by senior Tata officials during the photo opportunity.
Rumor has it that Tata has already started production of this model at its Uttarakhand plant and shortly a commercial launch will be held.
Tata Motors held the public unveil of the Ace Refresh at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. It features improvements after feedback from close to one million customers was studied. The Refresh gets a new grille, square headlights, body colored bumpers, fabric seats and wider ORVM units.
A music system and a mobile charging point have been incorporated into the dashboard which now features a new steering wheel.
The Ace Refresh will be launched in HT, EX and CNG variants. It retains the 700cc (50% of Indica’s engine block) IDI engine that punches out 16hp/38Nm. Tata was caught testing a DICOR variant of the Ace a few months ago, which could be highlight of the Ace Refresh's launch.
