The production-spec XLV-Air will be launched early next year.
At the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the pre-production model of the long-bodied Ssangyong Tivoli has premiered to the world, dubbed the Ssangyong XLV-Air. This model is based on the Ssangyong XLV concept unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Ssangyong XLV-Air
Built on the Ssangyong Tivoli's new X100 platform, the new Ssangyong XLV-Air would serve as a multi-role SUV, offering a unique 7-seater arrangement, and expansive cargo space.
Powering the production-spec Sssangyong XLV-Air are the same engines offered in the Euro-spec Ssangyong Tivoli crossover. This includes a 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines, mated to an Aisin 6-speed automatic, or 6-speed manual transmission systems. An All Wheel Drive system is available as optional equipment.

Ssangyong XAV-Adventure
Alongside the Tivoli diesel and XLV-Air, the Ssangyong XAV-Adventure concept is also showcased at the motor show. Also based on the Tivoli platform, the XAV-Adventure is crafted as a reinterpretation of the original Ssangyong Korando brand, with a hint of modernness and masculinity.
Like the Korando, the XAV-Adventure is touted to have intense off-road capability. The vehicle is offered with the choice of 1.6-litre diesel and 1.6-litre petrol engines linked to a hybrid electric E-4WD system. The E-4WD system has a lithium ion battery and two rear mounted electric motors, giving the SUV two driving modes: hybrid fuel economy mode and hybrid performance mode.
