Will go on sale in Europe from early next year.
Along with a large gallery of images, Skoda has also released couple of videos detailing the Skoda Kodiaq - the Czech manufacturer's first ever 7-seat SUV. It will go on sale in Europe from early-2017, and arrive in India in the second half of the same year.
The Skoda Kodiaq's exterior styling is an evolution of the company's current design language, featuring characteristic angular lines, Skoda’s butterfly grille, sleek double headlamps, and LED taillamps. At the tape, it measures 4,697 mm long, 1,882 mm wide, 1,667 mm tall and has a 2,791 mm wheelbase.
Inside, the Kodiaq is available with three upholstery options: a fabric/leather combination, leather or Alcantara covers, and five interior trim options. It’s the first 7-seater from Skoda, offering a couple of seats in the third row as an option. The Kodiaq has a boot volume of 720L (with third row folded), which can be increased to 2,065L with the second row folded.
Skoda is offering three petrol and two diesel options. A 1.4 TSI will be available in two power states: 125 PS and 155 PS, while a bigger 2.0 TSI produces 180 PS. The diesel variants will pack a 2.0 TDI engine also available in two outputs: 150 PS and 190 PS. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and DSG gearbox, while an AWD system is available in all variants except the base 125 PS 1.4 TSI.
