Will be introduced in 80 global markets.
Nissan has unveiled the Nissan Kicks compact SUV at a media event in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It will be launched for sale in August 2016, and will be introduced in 80 markets across the globe, following the Brazilian launch.
To rival the segment leader, the Honda HR-V, the Nissan Kicks measures 4,295 mm in length, 1,760 mm in width and 1,590 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,610 mm. The exterior features a contemporary styling inspired by Nissan's latest design language, borrowing most of the cues from the Nissan Kicks concept.
The interior of the top-end SL grade features a light tan and black color combination, flat-bottomed leather-wrapped steering wheel with buttons, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Around View Monitor, automatic climate control, start/stop button, and a large color MID in the instrument cluster beside the analog speedometer.
The Nissan Kicks will pack a 1.6-litre flex-fuel engine paired to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Expect more technical details, variant list and prices to arrive closer to its launch date in August.
