Nissan Brazil has confirmed that the Kicks will go on sale in August 2016, followed by 80 markets across the world, which reportedly includes India.
The Kicks SUV features an exterior styling inspired by Nissan's latest range of vehicles, and looks nearly similar to the concept model unveiled in 2014. The Nissan Kicks measures 4,295 mm in length, 1,760 mm in width and 1,590 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,610 mm.
Inside, the top-end SL grade has a performance-themed design, finished in a dual tone light tan and black combination. It features a flat-bottomed leather-wrapped steering wheel, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, push-button start, Around View Monitor, large color screen in the instrument cluster beside the analog speedometer, and a plethora of storage spaces.
The Kicks is powered by a 1.6-litre flex-fuel mill which is teamed up with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Performance figures, variants and prices of the Nissan Kicks will be announced closer to its launch in August.
