While we admire extensively done modifications, it is no secret that owners may run into trouble with the authorities. Keeping that in mind, folks at Eimor Customs have given a Royal Enfield Classic 350 a subtle styling makeover and tagged it Beloni.gra
For starters, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 retains all the stock parts. The fascia continues to feature the factory-installed headlight and blinkers. The cockpit retains the stock instrument console and the standard handlebar. However, if you look closely, the entire motorcycle has been given a stealthy look with black treatment to the fork covers, wire-spoke wheels, headlight mask, blinker mounts, engine cover and exhaust pipe among others. The limited chrome on the motorcycle is seen around the instrument console, fuel filler cap, springs under the rider seat and the rear springs.
The fuel tank gets a visual upgrade in the form of custom hand-paint design, although it retains the black colour, thus avoiding the need to upgrade the registration certificate. The saddle retains the split style design but the new covers give it a more appealing look than the stock seats. The sub-frame, rear fender, tail light and blinkers' design has remained untouched.
The engine specifications or the stock exhaust has not been altered either. Thus, the 346 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, Twinspark engine with a carburettor continues to deliver 20.07 PS at 5,250 rpm and 28 Nm at 4,000 rpm and is liked to a five-speed transmission. The hardware continues to feature a disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the back. The motorcycle in the photographs is the non-ABS version of the Classic 350.
Shock absorption tasks are performed by telescopic forks at the front and twin-sided rear springs. The exhaust may look different from the standard motorcycle, but that is because the heat shield has been removed and it has received a black paint.
The modification done by Eimor Custom isn’t too flashy or loud. Its subtlety makes the modified bike easy on the eyes and the detailed design on the fuel tank lend it an appealing look.
Royal Enfield is working on the BS-VI compliant range that should debut early next year. The spy shots have shown updated range several times, revealing finer details such as revised engine layout, repositioned drive chain and rotary style switches among other changes.
