Could be based on the Mercedes MFA platform.
The Infiniti QX30 crossover concept is headed to the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, and the Japanese manufacturer has released a teaser image of the same, to keep the excitement high. Online reports say that the vehicle is based on the Mercedes MFA (Mercedes-Benz Front-wheel drive Architecture) that underpins the A, B, CLA, and GLA Class.
Along with the teaser image, it's also announced that the vehicle will inspire a premium compact crossover (likely to be of the same name).
The company is yet to announce when the QX30 will be realised as a production vehicle. Its hatchback version, the Q30, was showcased back in 2013, and is expected to hit global markets this year. These two, when put into production, could be the ideal products for Infiniti to start its Indian innings, should the brand decide to launch in India.
Coming back to the released image which shows the rear end of the QX30 Concept, the LED taillamps, trapezoidal dual exhausts, dual-tone colour treatment for the bumper, and lots of concave and convex surfaces, are some of the distinct features of the design.
