1. Mercedes G-Code rendering
The "From Asia For Asia" Mercedes G-Code concept car traveled to production on rendering artist Shoeb's sketchpad. The 4.1m long crossover drew its inspiration from the lifestyle and digital association the young Asian society makes today. Daimler's study shows that this generation would prefer sporty crossovers over other models.
2. Maruti Ritz Elate
Maruti has relaunched the Ritz Elate limited edition which features a 2-DIN JVC music system with Bluetooth compatibility and an AUX-in port, special seat cover with orange contrasts and pillow, multipurpose bag, reverse parking sensors, among other features.
3. New Ford Endeavour
Ford unveiled the next gen Ford Endeavour (Ford Everest outside India) in China featuring a completely new chassis, design and interior. Designed and developed by Ford’s Asia Pacific design and product development teams, the car will come with a 3.2-liter 5-cylinder diesel engine, a 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel and a 2.0-liter twin-scroll EcoBoost petrol.
4. Maruti Alto K10 waiting period
The Maruti Alto K10 AMT is currently having a 4 month waiting period in northern states and 2 month waiting in the south. For the manual variants, the waiting period is a more bearable 2-4 weeks depending on the colour.
5. Mercedes C Class
The 2015 Mercedes C Class was unveiled for the first time in India in Bangalore last week at the CeBIT IT and ICT exhibition. Mercedes-Benz India has also announced that the new C Class will be formally launched on the market on November 25.
