Fiat's new one-ton pickup now on sale in Europe.
Fiat Professional is showcasing its mid-size pickup, the Fiat Fullback, at the 2016 Bologna Motor Show. Introduced at the 2015 Dubai Motor Show, the one-ton pickup is now on sale in Europe.
Save for the Fiat badge and the slightly different styling, the Fiat Fullback is essentially the fifth generation Mitsubishi Triton (Mitsubishi L200). The Fiat Fullback is available in chassis, extended cab and crew cab configurations. The Double Cab and Extended Cab styles are available in LX and SX trim levels. Except the SX Double Cab (a rear-wheel drive model), all other Double Cab and Extended Cab models are four-wheel drive.
The Fullback on show features MOPAR accessories like a chrome sport bar, chrome side finishes on the doors, door sills and accessorised cargo bed with rigid cover in the same tone as the truck exterior, lined with Mopar's bedliner.
The Fiat Fullback is powered by a 2.4-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 150 hp and 380 Nm of torque or 180 hp and 430 Nm of torque depending on the model selected. Transmission choices include 6-speed manual and 5-speed automatic. The one ton pickup has a towing capacity of over three tons.
The Fiat Fullback is available in green metallic, blue metallic, red, bronze metallic, titanium grey metallic, black mica, pearl white and white colours, and priced from €24,000 (INR 17,57,701.89) in Italy. It is built alongside the Mitsubishi Triton in Thailand.
