IAB Report - Chevrolet Sail Limited Edition launched at INR 5.36 lakhs

Chevrolet has launched a limited edition on the Sail sedan. The Chevrolet Sail Limited Edition sees feature additions such as rear parking sensors, integrated turn signals on wing mirrors, illuminated sill plates, body graphics, seat covers, pillows and a chrome garnish for the bootlid.

Mechanically, there are no enhancements to the Sail limited edition and it continues to be available with a petrol and a diesel engine. The petrol engine is a 1.2-liter four-cylinder motor producing 86 PS and 113 Nm of torque and claims to deliver 18.2 km/l. The diesel is a 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine outputting 78 PS and 205 Nm of torque and delivers 22.1 km/l according to ARAI.

The limited edition Sail is priced from INR 5.36 lakhs, ex-Showroom, Thane.

At the recently concluded Auto Expo 2014, a different special edition was showcased on the Sail. The Auto Expo show car featured a dual-tone black-gold color scheme and GM India are learned to have no interest in introducing this car yet. The Auto Expo also saw General Motors showcase a modified version of its Cruze sedan and a future mini SUV concept called Adra.
