Although we love aftermarket tuners taking risk with their creations, we love it more when the automakers get their hands dirty with the job of customization.
Chevrolet has decided to present a few creations at the upcoming SEMA show.
Chevy will present a few Beats (known as the Spark in America) and an exquisite Cruze to attract some eyeballs. We have already covered the Beats before, so here are some details of the Cruze Upscale.
Chevrolet Cruze Upscale
The Chevrolet Cruze Upscale will feature a full body kit with Burnished Brandy Metallic paint with tinted windows and 19-inch Black-Ice–finished wheels. The interior features leather seats with yellow accent stitching.
The Cruze Upscale is not just all show and no go. It also has an adjustable coil-over suspension and vented and drilled rotors clamped by four-piston calipers up front and two-pistons in the rear.
We'll have to wait and see if GM has production ambitions for any of the parts or custom works they're putting on the cars going to SEMA 2012.
What is SEMA?
SEMA stands for Specialty Equipment Market Association. Essentially it is a huge exhibition of OEM and Aftermarket tuners which attracts 100,000 industry leaders from more than 100 countries at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Actually, I will just let the video do the talking.
