DSK Motowheels has unveiled the Benelli BX250 Motard and the Benelli Tornado Naked T-135 at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida. The company is planning to launch both models in the current calendar year.
Benelli BX250:
The BX250 is powered by a 249.2 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with DOHC and four valves, that produces 25.15 PS at 9,000 rpm and 21.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox.
It features a double-cradle tubular chassis, 50 mm inverted fork with 250 mm travel, monoshock with progressive link rear suspension with 110 mm travel, 280 mm front disc brake with double piston caliper, 240 mm rear disc brake with twin piston caliper, 100/80-ZR17 front tyre and a 130/70-ZR17 rear tyre. The Benelli BX250 has a wheelbase of 1,450 mm, seat height of 890 mm, unladen weight of 135 kg and a usable fuel tank capacity of 9.6 litres.
Benelli Tornado Naked T-135:
The TNT Naked T-135 is powered by a 124.8 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with SOHC, four valves and twin-spark system, that produces 12.64 PS at 9,000 rpm and 10.8Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, and is paired with a five-speed gearbox.
It features a 7.2-litre fuel tank, 160 mm of ground clearance, 1,215 mm of wheelbase, 780 mm of saddle height, 121 kg of unladen weight, USD fork with 120 mm of travel, hydraulic shock absorber with preload adjustment and 50 mm of travel, 220 mm front disc brake with double piston caliper, 190 mm rear disc brake with single piston caliper, 120/70-ZR12 front tyre and 130/70-ZR12 rear tyre.
