To sell only cruisers for now.
UM Motorcycles India has announced 25 dealerships that will take care of the phase one of operations in the country. The showrooms are setup across Delhi and 12 states including Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Manipur, Mizoram, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
The company launched its first set of products at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida last month. There are three variants of the UM Renegade including the Renegade Sport S, Renegade Commando and the Renegade Classic. They are priced at INR 1.49 lakhs, INR 1.59 lakhs and INR 1.69 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi) respectively.
All three models are powered by the same 279 cc water-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 25 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 21.8 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Mr. Juan Villegas, the Global Director of Business Development, UM International LLC, told IndianAutosBlog that the company has a first year sales target of 3,000 units per month and that the brand plans to make India an export hub to cater to the surrounding emerging markets.
