The 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid has started reaching dealerships in India ahead of its launch on the 18th of this month, a walkaround video posted by RushLane has revealed. Earlier this month, images published by GaadiWaadi.com had leaked the features and specifications of the all-new model.
The tenth-gen Toyota Camry comes with two different masks, each featuring a two-piece grille in either an elegant style or a sporty style with large side intakes and a powerfully expressive gloss black mesh grille. India gets the more elegantly styled version.
The Indian-spec tenth generation Toyota Camry comes exclusively in the Hybrid variant that combines the A25A-FXS 2.5-litre petrol engine with the '3NM' electric motor. The petrol engine produces 178 PS and 221 Nm of torque, while the electric motor generates 120 PS and 202 Nm of torque. Combined, they deliver a maximum output of 211 PS.
The old Toyota Camry Hybrid had a fuel economy rating of 19.27 km/l. The all-new Toyota Camry Hybrid, which sits on a brand-new platform (GA-K from TNGA family), offers approximately 20% improvement in the fuel efficiency. Its fuel economy rating is 23.27 km/l.
Noteworthy features include Bi-Beam LED headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED rear combination lamps, large colour head-up display, tilt and inner slide type moonroof, 10-way power adjustable driver seat with memory function, 10-way front passenger seat, electronic parking brake, three-zone automatic climate control, 9-speaker JBL audio system, touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, wireless charging and 9 airbags.
