At the front, the headlights are surrounded in the matt gold wrap while at the centre is a Yamaha logo that sits on a black background. The front fender gets an all-black finish. From the sides, the fairing features a perfect combination of the matte gold and black paint that ensure neither of the colour overpowers the other. The R15 logo is printed in black.
The dual tone scheme continues on the fuel tank and the rear panel as well. The black colour runs through the length of the motorcycle, starting from the fuel tank, and going all the way behind the pillion seat.
The matte gold wrap isn’t too flashy which ensures that this customised Yamaha YZF-R15 V2.0 looks as stylish, yet subtle.
The front of the vehicle does not receive a massive makeover, but the rear features a few changes aimed to give the motorcycle a clean look. The rear fender, for example, has been completely removed and the blinkers have been integrated into the panel under the pillion seat. The registration plate has been mounted on the left side of the motorcycle, just behind the pillion footrest. A custom unit has replaced the stock exhaust.
Rest of the hardware is standard, and the customised YZF-R15 continues to feature the same suspension, braking and wheel setup. Conventional telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear perform suspension duties. A single disc at the front and a single disc at the rear perform anchoring tasks.
The 149.8 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, in its stock state of tune, delivers 16.7 bhp of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 15 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The latest iteration of the motorcycle, the YZF-R15 V3.0 uses 155.0 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 19 bhp of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 15 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm.
