According to a report published by Overdrive, the Ford Freestyle launch is scheduled on April 18. The CUV or Compact Utility Vehicle, as Ford likes to call it, made its global debut in India in January 2018.
The Ford Freestyle will come in four grades – Ambiente, Trend, Titanium, and Titanium+. All trims feature ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors, and rear fog lamp as standard fitment. The range-topping Titanium+ gets side and curtain airbags, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, Ford MyKey, SYNC3 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support and Active Rollover Prevention with Hill Launch Assist, Traction control, and ESP.
The Ford Freestyle debuts a new 1.2 L 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 96 PS and 120 Nm. As per claimed figures, it returns 19.0 km/l overall. The diesel variant is powered by Figo’s 1.5 L TDCi unit developing 100 PS and 215 Nm. Claimed fuel efficiency stands at 24.4 km/l. Both engines are paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. It measures 3,954 mm long, 1,737 mm wide, 1,570 mm tall, and rides on a 2,490 mm wheelbase.

Expect the Ford Freestyle to carry a starting price of around INR 6 lakhs (ex-showroom). There will be six exterior colours to choose from - Canyon Ridge, Smoke Grey, Moondust Silver, White Gold, Oxford White, and Absolute Black.
