Tata Motors has announced that it will increase prices across its model range April 2018 onwards. The Tata Motors price hike comes on the back of rising input costs the company has said. The increment in prices will be to the tune of up to INR 60,000 (depending on the model).
According to Mr. Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicle Business, Tata Motors -
The rising input costs, changing market conditions and various external economic factors, have compelled us to consider the price increase but we are optimistic on maintaining our growth trajectory in the coming year on the back of our robust product portfolio like Tiago, Hexa, Tigor and Nexon.”
Here are the current price ranges (ex-showroom Delhi) of Tata's product portfolio
- Tata Tiago - INR 3.26-5.85 lakhs
- Tata Tigor - INR 4.71-7.00 lakhs
- Tata Zest - INR 5.28-8.70 lakhs
- Tata Nexon - INR 5.99-9.62 lakhs
- Tata Safari Storme - INR 10.55-15.50 lakhs
- Tata Hexa - INR 11.85-17.42 lakhs

Over the next 12-18 months, Tata Motors is expected to launch a slew of new products in the Indian market. Production versions of the Tata H5X and Tata 45X concepts are likely to arrive in showrooms along with AMT variant(s) of the Nexon. The EVision sedan concept showcased at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month is expected to complete its transition from concept to production form by 2020.
