Land Rover is displaying the 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show. The facelifted model is now available in UAE.
With the design revisions and the increased use of carbon fibre construction, the Range Rover Sport SVR is now more dramatic, faster and agiler than before. The refreshed model features Pixel LED headlights with signature DRL and animated turn indicators, a reworked front bumper that has changes contributing to the brake cooling, all-new brake pads and discs which provide enhanced performance at higher temperatures and new optional 22-inch alloy wheels.
The 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR has an even more powerful 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine than the pre-facelift model. Land Rover has recalibrated the engine and its management system to increase maximum boost pressure. This engine now develops 575 PS and 700 Nm of torque, 25 PS and 20 Nm respectively more than before. As a result, the 0-100 km/h acceleration time has reduced by 0.2 seconds to 4.5 seconds. The top speed has increased from 260 km/h to 280 km/h.
The 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR retails at AED 5,92,000 (INR 10,478,706.65) in UAE. Land Rover has confirmed that the new Range Rover Sport’s deliveries will commence at the end of 2017.
