From the teasers Kia has released, the 2018 Kia Ray looks like a facelift to the current car, and not a completely renewed model. The facelifted Kia Ray will have a new, body-coloured radiator grille positioned higher up, to the level of the headlamps, which will adopt a more angular design and incorporate a sharp DRL. The teaser image shows two new wide air intakes positioned at the middle and in the lower portion of the bumper also, as well as new, circular fog lamps.

The profile of the Kia Ray won’t change much with the mid-cycle refresh. The teaser shows that the mirrors will have a much slimmer LED turn indicators. One can expect newly designed alloy wheels as well. At the rear, every element, including the tailgate, tail lamps and bumper, will undergo visual changes for a bolder look. The new tail lamps will feature a C-shaped LED signature. The car’s interior should also have extensive substantial changes all around.
