The Suzuki Jimny is built on a ladder frame chassis. The compact SUV has boxy design lines, which hint at functionality while the round headlamps and vertical grille provide the necessary form as well. There are two variants, the standard and Mode3. The latter gets grey bumper and side body claddings, while the former gets body-coloured bumper and claddings. The hood scoop and the roof rails add to the SUV’s rugged appeal. The Jimny is 3,545 mm long, 1,600 mm wide and 1,670 mm high. It gets a wheelbase of 2,250 mm.

Transmission choices are either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. The SUV gets 4WD, which can be shifted on the fly. For steeper terrains, it also features a low-ratio 4WD-L setting.

On the safety front, dual front airbags are available. The Jimny comes with ABS, ESC, and side-door beams as well.
