Modern mechanical underpinnings enhance the scrambler design.

The bike was spotted in Pune, and the masked badges and the red number plate indicate that it is a test mule. F.B Mondial is an Italian motorcycle brand with a racing history that goes way back to late 1940’s. Coming to the present, the HPS stands for ‘Hipster’, and the design of the bike has drawn inspiration from the Hipster lifestyle, which is currently the rage.

Faithful to the retro-modern approach, the bike gets a 124.2cc single cylinder DOHC, 4-valve engine with fuel injection and liquid cooling. The powerplant produces 13.59 PS of power at 9,750 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. A 6-speed transmission puts down the power.

A 41 mm upside down fork takes care of the front suspension while the rear uses dual gas-charged shock absorbers. The front fork has 90 mm of travel while the rear offers 120 mm. The bike uses a 280 mm petal disc at the front, with 4-piston calliper. The rear wheel comes to a halt by a 220 mm petal disc with a single piston calliper. The fuel tank capacity is 9 litres, and the bike weighs 130 kg (dry). The bike employs a 100-section front and a 130-section rear dual-purpose tyre. The scrambler-like dual exhausts further accent its design.

The bike features a plush leather seat and an offset digital instrument cluster.

Going by the build quality, it is likely that the motorcycle will be a premium offering if launched in India. Expect the brand to share more details in the coming months.
