The Tata Hexa has been showcased at the 2017 NADA Auto show in Nepal. The Hexa will soon be available in the country as a CBU from India.

When it comes to design, the Hexa uses Tata’s signature Impact Design language with bold exteriors and premium sporty interiors. The car measures 4,788 mm in length, 1,903 mm in width, 1,791 mm in height; and has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. The Hexa employs a 2.2L, 4-cylinder VARICOR 400 diesel mill, which generates 156 PS of power at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 1,700-2,700 rpm.

The Hexa comes with Super Drive Modes, which allows the driver to seamlessly switch between the four different driving modes – Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road. The feature alters parameters in the engine performance, the new-generation Electronic Stability Program (ESP), the Torque on Demand (TOD) transfer case, the Instrument Cluster display and the vehicle’s ambient lighting to deliver the appropriate combination for the chosen conditions. The Super Drive modes can be activated through a rotary knob placed on the centre console. A 6-speed automatic transmission is available in XMA and XTA variants. The XT variant shown here uses a 6-speed manual transmission.

In the safety department, the car comes with front, side and curtain airbags; Electronic Stability program (ESP); ABS with EBD; Hill Hold Control (HHC) & Hill Descent Control (HDC); and a traction control system. A 10-speaker JBL system keeps the driver and passengers entertained. The car also features smartphone integration with the ConnectNext App.
