The 2017 Peugeot 301 (facelift) was officially revealed this week and here's a pictorial and technical comparison between the new 301 and pre-facelift Peugeot 301.

2017 Peugeot 301 vs. 2013 Peugeot 301 front three quarters
The 2017 Peugeot 301 features a thoroughly updated front fascia with cues borrowed from the company's latest European models.

The Peugeot 301 has incorporated the Lion brand's latest stylistic codes, evident mostly at the car's front. The front fascia bears restyled headlamps with new grille radiator and air dam grilles, restyled bumper with new LED signature lighting and resculpted bonnet. New tail light graphics give a fresh look at the rear.

Three new exterior colours have been introduced: Artense Grey, Moka Grey and Deep Blue. The interior theme can be specified as light or dark. In the Allure trim level, the dark scheme is based on a new fabric trim called Cran Adamantium.

The dashboard has been redesigned for a sleeker, stepped and glossy look. There's a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 3D TomTom navigation and Mirror Screen triple play connectivity (MirrorLink, Android Auto, Apple Carplay).

Mechanical changes on the 2017 Peugeot 301 include recalibrated power steering to lower effort during parking and low-speed turns, revised suspension setup specializing in tackling poor roads, dashboard mounted on a crossbar with an angle bracket for better rigidity, revised air-conditioning for faster cooling and new electrical heating resistors for faster heating of the passenger compartment.
