Perodua has announced the Perodua Bezza sedan in Malaysia. Previously referred to by its codename 'Perodua D63D', the Bezza is Perodua's first-ever sedan and will soon be launched in the company's home market.
The Perodua Bezza is based on the Perodua Axia's platform, and will compete with the Proton Saga. The Perodua Bezza measures 4,150 mm in length, 1,620 mm in width and 1,510 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,455 mm. Its close rival, Proton Saga, is 128 mm longer, 60 mm wider and 20 mm taller, and has a 10 mm longer wheelbase.
The Perodua Bezza will be available in three grades at launch, Standard G, Premium X and Advance. Engine options include 1KR-VE 1.0-litre VVT-i three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 67 hp and 91 Nm of torque and 1NR-VE 1.3 Dual VVT-i four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 94 hp and 121 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic.

Noteworthy features of the Perodua Bezza sedan include keyless entry with a push-start button, USB port for rear passengers, touchscreen double-DIN infotainment system with MirrorLink, 60:40 split second row rear seats, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), ABS and dual airbags.
