Expected in India by the end of this year.
Ford has showcased the 2015 Ford Mustang at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The sports car will likely be making its way to the Indian market by the end of this year and celebrated its European premiere at the Paris Auto Show last year.
The Mustang features a power bulge on the hood, a wide radiator grille that is flanked by HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlamps and LED DRLs. The lateral view shows prominent wheel arches, a striking shoulder line and revised alloys. The rear gets sporty-looking spoiler, iconic triple-slat LED tail lights and twin chrome-finished exhausts.
Its cabin gets an aviation-inspired theme with large instrumentation that makes information easily available to the driver. The interior is roomier and features better ergonomics and controls that its predecessor, says Ford. The muscle car comes equipped with features such as SYNC with MyFord Touch, heated and cooled seats, leather upholstery, rain sensing wipers, Electronic Line Lock, Selectable Drive Modes and a Shaker Pro audio system.
A range of engines power the latest Mustang starting from a a 2.3-liter GTDI four-cylinder EcoBoost, a 3.7-liter Ti-VCT V6 up to a range-topping 5.0-liter V8 engine, which come with 6-speed automatic and 6-speed manual transmission options.
