Chevrolet Colorado High Country Storm revealed for Thailand - IAB Report

GM Thailand has unveiled a special edition of the top-end Chevrolet Colorado High Country, which will be showcased at the 2015 Thailand Motor Expo tomorrow. Dubbed as the Chevrolet Colorado High Country Storm, it features a few exclusive touches over the Colorado High Country variant.

The Chevrolet Colorado High Country Storm comes with Dark Chrome Mask headlamps, two-tone Anthracite grille, a subtle nudge bar, exclusive decal on the side, black gloss B-pillar, Metallic black sports bar with the High Country badge, anthracite rear bumper and dark chrome tailgate handle. The pickup sits on 18-inch alloy wheels.

Powering the special edition Colorado is a 2.8-litre Duramax turbo diesel engine capable of producing 200 hp and 500 Nm of torque. It comes paired to a six-speed AT and is available in 2WD and 4WD variants, which are priced at 999,000 Baht (INR 18.68 Lakhs) and 1,059,000 Baht (INR 19.8 Lakhs), respectively.

It will rival the beefed-up personal pick-ups like the Ford Ranger Wildtrak and the Toyota Hilux Revo TRD. The vehicle is manufactured at GM Thailand’s Rayong plant.
