Prices start from THB 969,000 (INR 18.56 lakhs).
GM Thailand has revealed the range-topping Chevrolet Colorado High Country at the 2015 Bangkok Motor Show. The well equipped pick-up truck will squarely target the Ford Ranger Wildtrak and the Toyota Hilux Vigo.
The High Country variant adds Dark Chrome Mask headlamps, a two-tone grey and black grille, a subtle nudge bar, a glossy B-pillar veneer, and a dark chrome tailgate handle. The "High Country" badging is also applied to a rear buttress accent on the front of the truck bed and behind the rear window. The pickup sits on 18-inch alloy wheels.
Similar to the Trailblazer (also showcased at the show), the interior of Colorado High Country is upholstered with premium Brown Stone leather and piano-black interior trim. The driver gets a six-way power adjustable seat, and tech features include Chevrolet’s MyLink system, along with a rearview camera.
Under the hood is a 2.8-litre Duramax turbo diesel engine capable of producing 200 hp and 500 Nm of torque. It comes paired to a six-speed AT and an option between 2WD and 4WD.
Prices for the Chevrolet Colorado High Country will start from THB 969,000 (INR 18.56 lakhs) for the 2WD model, while the top-spec 4WD variant will cost 1.029 million baht (INR 19.71 lakhs). The vehicle is made at GM Thailand's Rayong plant.
