Skoda Auto India has added a new top-end trim to the Octavia called the Style Plus. The Octavia Style Plus, available with the 1.8-liter TSI engine and the 2.0-liter TDI AT powertrain, sits atop the Elegance variant and is priced at INR 19.8 lakhs for the petrol and INR 21.3 lakhs for the diesel, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
Features available on the Style Plus, in addition to those offered on the Elegance, include 8 airbags, gear shift controls on the steering wheel, engine starter button, rear parking camera and a SmartLink connectivity system.
The Octavia Style Plus 1.8 TSI delivers 180 PS and 250 Nm of torque, and is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, with an ARAI rated fuel efficiency of 14.7 km/l. The Style Plus 2.0 TDI produces 143 PS and 320 Nm of torque, and is matched to a 6-speed DSG, with a fuel efficiency of 19.3 km/l.
The Octavia range in India now includes 7 models, including a base 1.4-liter TSI which is available with a 6-speed manual only.

While Skoda Auto India sold a vRS version of the previous two generation of the Octavia, reports state that the vRS variant of the current Octavia will not be introduced in the country as there would be few takers for it.
