A fan page on Facebook has more details and pictures of the 2016 Toyota Fortuner. The SUV will come in a total of six colors for the Thai market which include White Pearl, Silver, Gray, Attitude Black, Nebula Blue and Phantom Brown.
Further, the page has also uploaded images detailing the headlight and taillight clusters of the new Fortuner. The headlight clusters feature Corolla-inspired LED daytime position lights and Bi-Beam LED main lights on the top-end variant. The lower variant gets Bi-projector beams. The rear clusters sport LED light guides for the brake lights.
As reported earlier, the 2016 Fortuner will get 18-inch diamond-cut alloy rims, shod with 265/60 rubber. Also seen in these images is the upmarket key fob of the new Fortuner which gets a button for opening the bootlid, hinting that the SUV sports an electric tailgate. A smart entry system with an engine starter button is confirmed, at least on the top-end variant.
The engine lineup will consist of 2.4- and 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engines and a 2.7-liter VVT-i petrol, carried over from the previous generation model. Transmission choices will include 6-speed manual and automatic units.
