Now expected to be launched in Q4 2015.
An alleged company newsletter has revealed the starting price of the 2015 Mazda CX-3 for the Malaysian market, which starts at RM 120,000 [INR 20.5 Lakhs]. This is inline with the pricing posted by a local Mazda dealer on Facebook, claiming that the Mazda CX-3 will start from RM 120,000- 130,000.
Older Malaysian reports have suggested that the Mazda CX-3 will be available in a single trim, which will be packed with many features such as six airbags, LED taillamps, and a head-up display as standard. It would source power from a 2.0-litre SkyActiv-G direct injection petrol engine delivering 150 hp and 204 Nm through a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Later on, a leaked set of tentative specifications revealed that Mazda is also bringing the CX-3 powered by the new 1.5 litre SkyActiv-D engine, which generates 104 hp and 270 Nm of torque to only the front wheels (the petrol will be 2WD only, too) via a six-speed auto transmission. At the moment, Bermaz Motors, representatives of Mazda in Malaysia, have not confirmed the diesel variant for launch.

It was earlier anticipated that the Malaysian deliveries of the Mazda CX-3 would begin in August. However, Bermaz sources have told media that it will launch in Q4 2015, along with the 2-door Mazda MX-5 roadster.
