Inspired to some extent by Transformers.
Chevrolet has revealed a limited edition of the 2015 Camaro V6 at the 2014 Guangzhou Auto Show that will be limited to just 300 units.
Called the Chevrolet Camaro RS Limited Edition, the car banks on the success of the Transformers franchise and the Camaro's image in the sci-fi movie to push the sales of the pony car. The limited edition model is said to have drawn inspiration from the Camaro Concept that was portrayed as "Bumblebee" in Transformers:Age of Extinction.
It retains the "shark gill" air inlet on the hood that is only exclusive to the SS variant, the retro muscle car design lines, and 20-inch alloy rims. In addition to the familiar yellow shade, the RS Limited Edition also comes in white and sky blue shades.
Inside, the car comes with a new seat package and a 7 inch color touchscreen powered by Chevrolet's MyLink infotainment system. Otherwise, the interior specifications remain the same.
Underneath the hood is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 323 bhp and 377 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox for an engaging driving experience. It also comes with Chevrolet's StabiliTrak vehicle stability system that can be configured to Sports mode for better handling.
