Mini will present the new Mini Clubman Concept at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show which starts on the 4th of March, to preview its five-door hatchback that hits the market later this year.
The new model has taken a step ahead and provides more interior space. The car is now longer by 260 mm and just under 170 mm wider than its predecessor and now measures 4,223 mm in length, 1,844 mm in width and 1,450 mm in height.
The Mini Clubman will ditch the current model's 2+1 door layout for a conventional five-door arrangement. The luggage compartment gets a split tailgate.
The Clubman Concept’s styling ensures instant recognition, both on the exterior and the interior as a Mini product with the hexagonal radiator grille, side scuttles, the black band, short overhangs and elliptical front and rear lights.
The new Clubman will be the first Mini to be fitted with a so-called AirBreather at the side. At the front apron there are so-called AirCurtains, which gives the wheel arches an aerodynamically optimized closure.
The interior design is typical Mini in terms of visual appeal. The central display area changes according to the selected content or driving functions.
