Tata Motors showcased the LHD version of the Safari Storme at the Geneva Motor Show and surprisingly even the car that they brought to Europe missed features like steering mounted controls, automatic transmission, auto climate control or a touch-screen operated infotainment system.
Dual airbags, leather seats, a clock and electrically adjustable side mirrors are the additional features seen on this model. The LHD model also features theater style seating unlike the last row jump seat arrangement seen on the Auto Expo display vehicle.
Tata not using these features may be due to worries of escalating costs. The company could be looking to wrap up the Storme variants well under 11 lakh rupees and give the Aria a good share of differences and the feeling of the flagship model.
