Suzuki Xbee

Suzuki Xbee is a small hatchback that is on sale in Japan. The Xbee is not available in other markets outside Japan and is unlikely to embark on the Indian shore.

Suzuki Xbee was first introduced at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. The Japanese car brand is only selling this model in the domestic market. This hatchback’s design is heavily influenced by the Suzuki Hustler with a boxy and tallboy stance. However, with regards to the mechanical parts, the Suzuki Xbee is widely different from its sibling. Suzuki Xbee is meant to offer a spacious and practical interior room as well as a funky SUV-ish look.

Suzuki Xbee Powertrains and Features

Suzuki Xbee is underpinned by the HEARTECT platform which is also used in other cars on Suzuki’s range. In our market, the same platform can also be found on the Maruti Baleno, Maruti Ignis, Maruti Dzire, and more. Powering the Xbee is a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. The power outputs of this unit are 99 PS and 150 Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifts. Interestingly, the Suzuki Xbee is on sale with both two- and four-wheel-drive configuration. The AWD system is offered as an option while the two-wheel-drive setting is standard. Moreover, this hatchback also comes with two driving modes, Sport and Snow.
