First mid-size SUV from Skoda.
The production-spec Skoda VisionS SUV (reportedly named Skoda Kodiaq) is expected to arrive in India next year, Autocar India reports. It will be the first mid-size SUV that slots above the Skoda Yeti.
The SUV will make its world debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show this October, featuring a filtered-down version of the Skoda VisionS Concept's design from the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. It will go on sale in key European markets towards the end of 2016.
The flagship SUV will feature angular LED taillamps, dual exhaust pipes enclosed by the black-plastic bumper, triangular reflectors, and long butterfly grille flanked by sleek LED headlamps with LED DRLs. Inside, it could be equipped with an Audi-inspired TFT instrument display, a portrait infotainment display across the center console, and fewer buttons.

The VisionS will be based on the MQB platform, which is expected to be localized in India. The engine lineup will be sourced from the new Skoda Superb, which will include 1.8 TSI petrol and 2.0 TDI engines paired to DSG gearboxes. An AWD system could also be offered in top-end trims.
