Showcased alongside facelifted Fiat 500.
Italian manufacturer Fiat has displayed new variants and a special edition of the Fiat 500X and the Fiat 500L at the ongoing 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
On display are three versions of the 500X and two versions of the 500L. Starting with the former, there are two examples with the off-road Cross Plus trim level while one car carries the Lounge trim level. The former comes with special bumpers, protective shields and 4WD.
The Fiat 500X Cross Plus, in Amore Red paint, is powered by a 1.4-liter MultiAir 170 hp engine that is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. On the ohter side is a 500X Cross Plus in Amalfi Yellow paint powered by a 2.0-liter Multijet II 140 hp engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 500X Lounge comes with a 1.4-liter MultiAir 140 hp engine mated to a dual clutch sequential automatic box. Mopar accessories, including 'Chrome Xtra' pack, have been exclusively made for the crossover.
As for the 500L, Fiat is showcasing the Fiat 500L Beats Edition, which comes with a two-colour paint scheme, and a 500L Trekking with an exclusive Tuscany Green paint job. Powering the former is the 1.4-liter 16v T-jet engine with 120 hp. Apart from the Beats music system inside, it features black fabric and eco-leather upholstery with red stitching. The exterior has a black roof, red and satin chrome finishes.
The 500L Trekking is powered by a 1.3-liter Multijet diesel engine with 95 hp. A new Tuscany Green livery with a two-colour white roof is featured along with Mopar accessories. Roof bars to accommodate bicycle racks, ski rack or roof box have also been fitted.
