DSK Hyosung's next Indian launch would be the GV250, according to an Overdrive report. The Hyosung GV250 is a scaled-down version of the GV650 sold in India as the Aquila Pro. In fact, the 2013 Aquila Pro was launched in India in January this year, alongside the 2013 GT650 R.
Powering the GV250 is a four-stroke, 249cc, V-Twin, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The engine produces a maximum power of 25 bhp and a peak torque of 22 Nm and comes mated to a 5-speed transmission.
The GV250 gets disc brake at the front with a two-piston caliper while the rear gets a drum brake. Suspension duties are carried out by conventional telescopic forks at the front and a swing arm at the rear with adjustable shock absorbers.
Hyosung offers the GV250 for the American market with 16-inch 110/90 tires at the front and 15-inch 150/80 tires for the rear. The cruiser gets a 14 liter fuel tank and tips the scales at 176 kg.
This year saw Hyosung inaugurate new dealerships in Ludhiana, Raipur, Chennai, Jaipur and Kolhapur. The Korean manufacturer is also present in cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Nagpur, Indore and Guwahati.
The Aquila Pro is priced at INR 4.99 lakhs (ex-Showroom, New Delhi) and hence the GV250 will be priced considerably lower than that.
