The Tata Harrier is a few days away from its media unveil. While it's well-established that the SUV's exterior will resemble the H5X concept to a great extent, the company is yet to offer us a look at its new flagship's interior. Recent batches of images from Powerdrift, however, reveal plenty of details of the cabin.

While the Tata H5X boasts a button-less design for the centre console, the spy images of the production model reveal a conventional setup with various buttons and knobs.

The interior of the new model isn't close to that of the H5X Concept. The cabin features a dark grey & brown dual-tone colour scheme, with highlights like a floating-type touchscreen infotainment unit that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, tan seat upholstery, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, a large coloured Multi-information display, and a monotone back-lighting for the instrument console. Careful observation reveals a rotary selector for the drive modes that has been positioned ahead of the gear lever. The design of the side air vents looks similar to the ones on the Nexon.

An earlier set of spy images reveals a strong focus on offering generous space to the rear passengers. The rear seat occupants of the new flagship model will benefit from features like folding centre armrest with cupholders, adjustable headrests, two AC vents, two USB ports and one-litre bottle holders. Furthermore, the new model will reportedly offer an in-built cooled storage area under the front armrest and dedicated smartphone storage slots for every passenger. Another major highlight is the aircraft-inspired pull-up/push-down type parking brake lever. The new model's remote key is exactly like that of the Nexon.

The Tata Harrier is the first production-spec model to be designed as per the IMPACT 2.0 theme. Unlike the interior, its exterior resembles the H5X to a great extent. Highlights include Euro-style multi-tier lights, new Tri-Arrow pattern, a dynamic beltline, bold creases, and sleek LED tail lights.

As first shown by our exclusive images, the dials feature a monochrome back-light. That said, the latest pic reveals clearly the large colour MID.

Underpinning the Tata Harrier is the OMEGA ARC modular platform that is based on the Jaguar Land Rover D8 architecture. The new model draws its juice from an FCA-sourced 2.0-litre 'Kryotec' turbocharged diesel engine that outputs a maximum power of 140 PS along with a peak torque of 350 Nm. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a Hyundai-sourced 6-speed automatic unit. Production of the Tata Harrier takes place on a newly setup manufacturing line at the company's Pune facility.
